Writing skill is known as the most difficult skill and complex language skills because writing requires a level of perception and involves the process of thinking extensively. Writing is a language skill that has to be learned by the students of SMAN 1 Purwoasri. In fact, most of students hae problem in writing recount text. They culd not write the recount text because they have less understnding the structure of writing recount text. The objective of this study is o find out the effectiveness of using Think, Talk, Write (TTW) Technique in teaching writing recount text to the students of SMAN 1 Purwoasri.
