The effectiveness of think – pair – square strategy in teaching english grammar / Zahro'un Nisa'
The objective of this study is to know whether teaching grammar using Think–Pair–Square to the first grade students of MAN 1 Kediri is effective or not. In order to achieve the objective of this study, the writer design a quasi- experimental research.The sample of the research is the first grade students of MAN 1 Kediri in the second semester in academic 2013/2014. Class A as experimental group and class B is as control group. Class A will be taught by using Think–Pair–Square strategy, while class B will be taught by using conventional strategy.To collect the data, the pre-test and post-test is used from the experimental and control group.The result of the tests was analyzed by using Ancova. The result shows that the significant is 0.003. It is lower than 0.05 (0.001
