The researcher decides to choose this Thesis because some of reasons. First, to translate L1 into L2 is not easy. It cannot escape from some components such as the structure or phrase, position of attributives or modifiers, morphological structures and categories, clause orders, elliptical constructions and restructuring of complex position or statements and all other related or similar elements. The second, one of the difficulties in translation class is how to make a good adjustment in translation. The third, most of the students are Javanese, so they are used to speaking Javanese or Indonesian in their daily communication purely or dialectically. Based on the background of the research, the writer identifies that the problems are to know the students’ grammar ability in translation and the interference of Indonesian language in the students’ translation.
